Walmart Shopping in a Small Town
Walmart seems to be everywhere now a days. In small towns Walmart seems to be a past time that many small town people enjoy. With it being a past time going to Walmart has acquired its own names such as Going Walmartin’, Going to Wally World and even Goin’ Martin’.
However despite the popularity of going to Walmart as a small town pasttime some folks just do not appreciate this corporate giant as much as they use to. In fact some such as the man in the following video are just down right upset with Walmart.
So in our Small Town Sexy way see why some folks are upset with Walmart.

I agree with the captain in the video. What’s the point of checking receipt at Walmart? Are there cameras in the store? Well at least there is no security check comming in and out of the store.
Once I returned something to Walmart that I had used for 2 years but the UPC was still on it. I figured, what the heck and tried to return it. I was shocked when they said, ok, here’s $4.27 cash and took it back.
Since then, I’ve had nothing but horror stories about Walmart and their returns, so I agree with the captain whole-heartedly.
People are making anti-Walmart videos and posting them to Youtube? Some people have way too much time on their hands! They’ll be making anti-bargain-hunting videos next, LOL. But I guess I like small-town independent shops too . . .
LOL Why bother checking receipts??? At my local Walmart who ever is in charge of putting the prices into the “system” does not know what the heck they are doing…for example a friend of mine got a Nintendo DS last Christmas- when she got to the register it rang up as $20!!! The manager said if thats how much it rang up for there is nothing he could do about it. Last month I went there to buy a telescope for my son- the price on the box said $199.99 BUT it rang up for $15.00 LOL
i love walmart thier prices are low and it’s a place where i can get (almost) everything i need without having to run all over town, but i just don’t get the whole “goin’ walmartin’” thing. I remember in Fort Smith, the walmart was the hangout for the town’s youth…they met in the parking lot to stand around in groups until 7:58 pm
walmart seemed to be the small town’s answer to an open air socializing club for teens
Hahaha. I’m from a small town myself, and the people here refer to it as “The Wal-Mart.” And they pronounce the as “thee” as if it’s the only Wal-Mart in existence, or perhaps, the end-all be-all of Wal-Marts.
